It was built on the fourth century BC. The castle was heavily damaged during the barbarian invasions of the fifth and sixth centuries AD, and it was rebuilt in the Middle Ages at which time it took its present name. Today\u2019s state of the construction of the church and monastery were left half of a two storey building collapsed.
